Existential musings
The stars have gone to bed
As the earth turns around and lazily stretches,
The sun has kissed the moon good nite,
But, where are you?
The trees have nestled down to ground,
While the flowers wrap their petals tight
It’s getting cool in the moonlight,
But, where are you?
Small creatures race to homes unseen
Chased by sleep on marathon runs
In forests of deafening quiet.
But, where are you?
My eyes dart to and fro looking
For that which only a heart can see,
The true scope of your love which pinpoints
Your unknown locality.
