POETRY PAUSE

POETRY PAUSE

Sometimes, we need a little ministering…………….

PREACHER

To assuage the pain of my lonely heart and watch a broken vessel knit itself into something functional.

I need you to minister.

To roll back the turbulent clouds that carpet my emotional horizon and let the rays of hope burst thru.

I need you to minister.

To sweep away the tears from eyes that saw love evaporate and now create a new vision,

I need you to minister.

To rekindle the passion of eros unrequited, and replace it with reciprocal, synergistic rapture,

I need you to minister.

To hold me.

Enfold me.

Console me.

Caress me.

Undress me.

Restore me.

Uplift me.

Support me.

Love me.

Come preacher, sweet teacher.

I need you to minister.
